My name is KS Lim, the CEO of the company. 2007 was a tough year that tested the glove industry with sharp increases in prices of raw materials and energy costs. The Malaysian Ringgit continues to strengthen against the US Dollar which forced prices of gloves to increase in tandem. Such developments were not welcomed by customers but were necessary to keep the industry alive and surviving. This phenomena affected many other manufacturing industries as well as services. We are sure that we can sustain our position as a reliable glove manufacturer and provider of quality disposable protection products through consistent product quality and exemplary customer services.
In 2008 we will be 20 years old. It is no mean feat for us to survive this long and without doubt the support of our faithful customers and vendors and the untiring efforts of our employees have contributed to our continued existence till today. We seek your cooperation still as we believe 2008 will not be an easy year, coming into a time of historically high fuel prices. Yet, as rubber is elastic, we believe that we too will remain flexible and overcome these challenging times together with all our stakeholders.
