Perusahaan Pelindung Getah was established in the spring of 1988 and became a glove producer in the autumn that same year. From a one line operation we are today running on 6 lines and produces both powdered and powderfree latex exam gloves. All our processes run on the ISO13485 and EN46002 quality systems. Our products are also certified to CE, ASTM and ADA standards. We recently added on a cleanroom manufacturing facility, producing both latex and nitrile cleanroom class 100 gloves.
We sell four house brands, RubberCare and Guardian for medical grade, and Sunshine for general purpose grade latex gloves. For cleanroom we offer Masterclean brand. Private labels are welcomed. We are fully Malaysian owned with the owners also the managers and operators of the business.
The factory is located 64 kilometers (40 miles) south of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia and about the same distance from the country’s premier sea port, Port Klang. We are about 45 kilometers (28 miles) from the new administrative capital, Putrajaya; the new Kuala Lumpur International Airport and the much hyped Multimedia Super Corridor. We are in the fringe of an exciting development for this new decade.
