My name is KS Lim, the CEO of the company.

Last year was indeed a rocky year for the world when the global economy was severely tested and shaken by the financial crisis that started with the sub-prime mortgage write-down in the United States which revealed serious cracks in the global credit market. As recession hit more and more nations, several industries collapses and more may followed. The glove industry is one of those that stayed relatively resilient to withstand such pressures. Several factors tested the industry:

1. exchange rates

2. raw material costs

3. rising energy costs

4. customer expectations and

5. competition

Our position was also tested by these factors but with tremendous support and faith in our ability to deliver consistency and reliability in both our products and services from our customers, we have emerged relatively unscathed. 2009 will be a tough and tight year to stay up against the competition but if past performance is any guide we believe we will continue to receive support from our customers, many of whom have been with us nearly as long as our 20 years of existence.

The Standard Malaysian Glove or SMG is a brand recognition that glove buyers need to be seeking if they want gloves of consistent quality and performance. Both our powdered and powder-free latex exam gloves are certified to meet the stringent SMG standard.
